SUSTAINABLY SORCED TIMBER

All our timber is sorced from local FSC certified sawmills and timber merchants.

WHAT DOES FSC MEAN?

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) insure that certified forests are managed with consideration for people, wildlife and the enviroment.

This means that the trees that are harvested are replaced or allowed to regenrate naturally. Parts of the forest are even left entirely to protect rare wildlife and plants. Also, the forest owner must use local workers, providing them with training, safety equipment and a good salary, supporting the local community.
