Photo Information
Photo Checklist
- Please make sure the photo of your subject is in a digital format.
- The photo should show the subject in good lighting, be clear, not pixelated and in the foreground of the picture.
Getting the best photo
- Natural light is always best when taking a photo of your subject, so try to take your picture outside or next to a window.
- Detail is key when it comes to realistic portraiture, so make sure you are close to the subject and small details can clearly be seen in the taken photo.
- Small shadows can add interest and depth to a portrait, but try to avoid large heavy shadows that can hide too much detail.
- Take several photos covering different angles. Sometimes, completely face-on or side-on pictures don't make the best portraits. A 3/4 pose or more natural pose can result in a better portrait.
